Have to say that I always appreciated the refills of the Space Pen's I've had over the years, I had one of the first originals, and many replacements when I was younger. They always lasted WAY longer on ink and refills than a traditional pen. Just a few years ago, I bought another Style, believe they call it the bullet. Well my wife loved it so much I had to give it to her, and I bought this one the next day. It's all metal, and is tough as iron with a very smooth click action. Been dropped and washed and lost several times, thankfully recovered. Some of my paint is coming off and occasionally you may need to screw the clicker and the point securely on as they loosen with use. I've had about 10 refills with this pen and it's still going on strong - am trying to decide which other colors to try as I'm getting a new bible, and this pen works really well without much bleed through in my Cambridge bible - I'm now getting an Allen, and would love to dedicate a pen or probably pens to my personal not taking. There's only one real warning about this pen - Always have a back up refill handy. That's essential as in about 1/2 the times I have refilled the pen - there is no warning - it just stops working - the other times I only had one time that it warned me with intermittent skipping for a few days, and some that skipped from 1-5 minutes... if it ever skips --- don't even waste time trying to squeeze any more ink - as there is none.
