I use several of these pens and they work great in cold weather and whenever you need to write at an odd angle. Next time I buy one I'd get my name engraved on it so it "doesn't get legs" because it is so useful ! I've also bought several fancy Fisher pens and had them engraved for birthday presents.

I have to write a thousand little things a day to effectively do my job as an avionics technician, and this pen works well even if I'm jotting a note upside-down on the back of my hydraulic-fluid-covered hand. The matte-finish solid metal case has great heft in the hand, and it writes very smoothly under all conditions. I do wish the point was a bit finer, and I did have a refill explode on me once (they are pressurized!), but that was my own fault for using the point of the pen as a prying tool. I recommend them to everybody.

My dad gave me this pen for Christmas and I love it. It writes at any angle with no problem. It is a great pen and I would recommend this one.
