The original Bullet Space Pen was conceived in July of 1948, Paul Fisher was soon machining a new pen design shaped from solid aluminum. It became our first Fisher ball point pen, the 400 Bullet Pen, and arguably the most popular pen of the twentieth century. This pen is now all brass with a Matte Black finish and a Clip.

Cited as an outstanding example of industrial art, the classic design of the Fisher Bullet Pen has been exhibited for years in the New York Museum of Modern Art. The Bullet's timeless styling has been the topic of many art books and magazine articles. Often imitated but never duplicated, the Fisher Bullet continues to be our most popular pen.

Great pen! I got it as a gift initially 5 years ago. I like it's compact size the best. I carry it on my pants pocket as I don't always have a shirt pocket for it to clip to. I am very critical of what I carry in my pockets daily, what I carry must be tough and compact and not be awkward in my pockets. The only down side is the clip itself, it used to slide off from time to time. I ended up hot glueing a new clip on and it has been good ever since. It was actually run over by a car a few times (dropped it in the driveway at night) and it is still good aside from some small scratches.

I own two of these pens, one as a spare. I like them. I own a Chrome Bullet Space Pen but I first lost the clip and then the cap. I now glue the clip to the cap to avoid losing it, it has worked well but now the clip has broken. Fisher Space Pens are the only pens worth owning but they are not perfect. Along with losing the clip and cap, paper fibers sometimes collect around ball point and can cause a small smear of ink but they are still the only pens worth owning.

Ive had this pen for 10 years. It writes like a champ in cold, upside down or on grease. Deffinately worth its price. Will last forever with proper care and refills.

I work in a very demanding field where I depend on a good writing tool. This pen is hands down the best. Thank you , Fisher

I work in the cold and this pen never freezes up, no more waiting for ink to flow. Love It!
