|
When closed, the Bullet Space Pen is the perfect size to carry in your wallet, pocket, purse, car glove box, organizer or toolbox. When open it's a full sized, evenly balanced writing instrument.
The original Bullet Space Pen was conceived in July of 1948. Paul Fisher was soon machining a new pen design shaped from solid aluminum. It became our first Fisher ball point pen, the #400 Bullet Pen, and arguably the most popular pen of the twentieth century. This pen is now all brass with a Chrome finish.
Cited as an outstanding example of industrial art, the classic design of the Fisher Bullet Pen has been exhibited for years in the New York Museum of Modern Art. The Bullet's timeless styling has been the topic of many art books and magazine articles. Often imitated but never duplicated, the Fisher Bullet Space Pen continues to be our most popular pen.

Here's an open Fisher Bullet Space Pen, ready to write.

I've had this pen for 5+ years. Being a sales professional always on the road and always having to wear shirt/slacks, the need for a small professional pen, that always writes when needed is important. This attractive pen performs! I have it in my front pocket almost all the time. Today I gave my space pen to an up and coming sales professional, so I'm ordering a new one for me. Thanks Space Pen!

My fisher bullet has somehow managed 4 years, writing everyday in school, being dropped every day, being scratched up in my pocket every day, and i have "tested" its ablilities to work in extreme conditions. this thing is SOOO scratched up, but it still works great. the only thing though, is if im going to have a pen for 4 YEARS... why spend this little of ammount on it? i think im going to buy the blue bullet style however, and use my beaten up pen in my glovebox. I would get one of the 100 dollar ones, but i LOVE the bullet shape. hmm.

I love this pen. I've had it for over a year now. I use it everyday and I always get compliments about it from my clients. It writes smooth, small enough to carry in my pocket, and is virtually indestructible. My only gripe about it is that I use the fine point refill. I don't know if it is because it's a smaller ball and therefore has a smaller diameter but this refill feels loose and has a clicking sound when I print. I also have the AG-7 and the fine point refills feel even looser in it. I doubt Fisher will change this product that they've been making for decades but if they fixed that it would be cool. In the mean time I remedy this by wrapping a small piece of scotch tape around the the refill where the cartridge ends and the point begins. So far it works. Other than that, I love these pens and talk about them as if I were a Space Pen salesman. I would recommend them to anyone who appreciates quality writing instruments.
