The original Bullet Space Pen was conceived in July of 1948, Paul Fisher was soon machining a new pen design shaped from solid aluminum. It became our first Fisher ball point pen, the 400 Bullet Pen, and arguably the most popular pen of the twentieth century. This pen is now all brass with a Chrome finish with a clip.
Cited as an outstanding example of industrial art, the classic design of the Fisher Bullet Pen has been exhibited for years in the New York Museum of Modern Art. The Bullet's timeless styling has been the topic of many art books and magazine articles. Often imitated but never duplicated, the Fisher Bullet continues to be our most popular pen.

Here's an open Fisher Bullet Space Pen, ready to write.
The Blueberry Bullet in its case.

An intern gave me my space pen a couple years ago as a parting gift. Immediately I could tell it was the best pen I had ever used. The ball rolls smoothly, the line it writes is clear and distinct, and the pen, itself, is solid and comfortable in my hand. I will not write with anything else, and I never leave the house without it.

The best pen I've ever owned!

I have been so happy with this pen! I have not used a different pen in about a decade! I've lost two pens and have replaced them with the same. The refills are inexpensive.
I have been able to carry a pen in my pocket and have never worried about the pen breaking and creating a mess or worry whether or not the pen will work because it's been in my pocket. It ready to write the moment it hits the paper. Filling out forms that have been handled with greasy fingers are no problemo with this pen!
I don't understand why more people don't have this compact piece of genius in their pockets! When the tip is capped, it's about 75% of its size, so many are amazed that it's a full size pen after it is uncapped... It's like magic! :o)
If you're interestd in a pen you can carry in your pocket, has no chance of ruining your clothes, and works like a champ, then I recommend this pen above any pen that may even cost you 100 times of what this one costs.

I went through Air Force Basic training at Lackland AFB. I went through pens like they were candy. I found the Bullet Space Pen at the Mini Mall there and kind of thought it was a joke (wright upside down huh) well it works upside down on greasy surfaces. This pen is great I will be getting me another pen.
BEST PEN ON EARTH!!!!!!!!
