Get this pen! It is obvious the good folks at Fisher spent some time and money designing what is surely one of its finest writing implements. The black titanium nitride finish is mesmerizing and the pen itself is surprisingly lightweight considering its size (5 1/2 inches when open and ready for writing). Fisher says the MARSB-4 can write a line 30 miles long and has enough ink to last an average person 80 years. Both stats are impressive, but I'm more concerned with how the pen performs, and it did not disappoint me. It writes smoothly and makes jotting a quick note both a pleasure and a breeze. It's a bit pricey (deals are available at several online retailers), but you certainly get what you pay for in this case; don't let cost dissuade you!

The guys I work with know the value I put on this pen. Stored, it fits perfectly in a tiny space. The cap stores during use on the top of the pen, allows a hefty feel in the hand. It feels like a Mont Blanc. Conveniently, it works great getting electronic signatures on the computer screen and fits well in every hand, young and old. As advertised, it hasn't run out of ink in the 5 years I've used it, but the cap had come loose with very frequent use, but was gladly replaced for free by the company. I'm afraid I will have to get a new one; when man sets foot on Mars!
