Several years ago i owned a dry cleaning store and accidently left my space pen in my jeans. When the machine finished its full cycle,i opened the door and removed approx. 50 lbs. of clothing,i noticed my pen sitting on the bottom of the tumbler. The pen is banged up and flattened on both ends, and writes like it is brand new.Any other pen would have leaked all over the clothes and ruined them. What a great pen.Still using it.

I have used one of the original Space Pens for many years; I finally found something that will damage the writing point - Utah slot canyon sand! It took 4 trips to the Escalante area where this extremely fine and abrasive junk gets into just about everything (ruined a camera!), but the point finally started to ooze ink a bit. Otherwise, this pen has been bomb-proof. BTW, love the Bullet Pen, which will likely prove to be bullet-proof :-)

I LOVE these!!!! I lost mine years ago and forgot about them. THEN one evening before Christmas last year mentioned it to my wife, when she was trying to write with a "standard" ball pen on a slippery surface. She surprised me with a bullet pen and I can't live without it. Really!
Problems solved:
Fits in guy's pants pocket invisibly (REALLY handy)
No probs in shirt pocket or when shirt has none
Never, EVER leak
Write on ANYTHING
And do it upside down, ANY orientation
Last seemingly forever
This year, hope she gives me another :-) as a spare!
Hats off to Paul Fisher, a REAL inventor!

WOW. I used to get 2-3 weeks of writing out of "regular" refills that cost nearly as much as this refill. The BIG difference is I can write for a full year and then some for the same as 1-2 regular refills of that brand name crap. Don't waste your money on Same name refills. Super Awesome!

I've struggled to write on my wall calendar for years. I thought there must be a better way, so I used pencil because the ink would just not work for long when trying to write a longer notation on our large wall calendar. I've been struggling with writing my shopping lists which are handily attached to the 'frigerator door... Finally I gave up and went to my big local office supply store! The young lady behind the counter thought I may be off my rocker for asking if they sell pens which write upside down and in water. She gently directed me to try looking in their PEN AISLE. Well, thank goodness I finally got around to checking it out, because, today, for the first time that I can remember, I was able to write upside down! I will try to write on wet paper tomorrow and a greasy surface, too! Thank you, thank you, thank you! PS: enjoyed Wikipedia's comments on your pen, too.
